It has become a routine for me that whenever I have free time I always want to hunt for insects in the bush or forest. Sometimes I go alone, but not infrequently I also go with some other friends who have the same hobby as me.

Hunting insects is not as easy as some people think, although there are indeed many species of insects that we can see in the grass. But to capture their photo is a challenge.

Like when I went to a village in the interior of North Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia. There I saw several species of insects such as grasshoppers, crickets, moths and others. However, I only managed to photograph two species perfectly. And the rest of them the insects run away by jumping and flying. Yeah, the insects there are very, very wild.

As for the two species of insects that I found, each of them is Potanthus omaha, skipper butterfly species that can be found in southeast Asia such as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and other surrounding countries.

I often find this Skipper butterfly in the grass or in the forest, and from my observations this skipper butterfly has two colors, namely yellow and brown as well as a combination of the two.

And then there's the flower fly species, Episyrphus balteatus. As the name implies, this fly species is often found in flowering wild plants and I think they must be looking for the nectar in the flowers.
