Airplanes, like everything else, die. Some end up in the scrapyard, some are dismantled for spare parts, recycled, or at least partially melted down for re-use, and some are simply left standing on the ground where they last landed. This little plane was lucky, its last basing, its grave is a forest glade. It dozes in the sun, listening to the wind in the tree branches, and maybe sometimes looks up at the dome of the sky above and dreams of flying.
