That’s so true! Kids can be way too creative and sometimes brutally honest when it comes to nicknames 😅 Here in the Philippines, there’s this joke that godparents are usually chosen based on who they think are rich 😂 They’re expected to give gifts every birthday, Christmas, etc. I’m definitely not part of the rich godparent club yet 😆 So I guess they just ran out of options hahahahaha

I remember my godfather, was my fathers best friend at the time, but they lived far from each other and I never met him! So it is all relative. But yes now it seems a selfish way of getting money and presents lol!

I also have a godfather like that! Never met him, I just heard stories about him from my parents. It’s funny how it works sometimes! hahahaha yeah,my wallet cries every holiday season 😂😂
