Wow - thats pretty cool. The Kelpies are great, and you were not that far from us if thats where you were (maybe only 20 miles away). And I also know Balquidder and the motel you stayed at,. We go tot he west coast all the time (Oban) and drive that same route through Calender, and Balquidder via Stirling. We'll I'm confident that you will love it up there - the scenery is just stunning !!!!

We only stopped briefly at the Kelpies on our journey up north @hoosie. And we only stayed one night in that motel. We are now in Aberdeenshire and have 2 nights left before we travel even further north 😎 more places to visit 😉
So cool you know the route and the place we went to.
I let you know when we have more time in the future when I’m around to meet up 😉 I’m sure we will explore Edinburgh a bit more.

Aberdeenshire - thats the opposite side of the country from where you were - you know how to do a road trip !
And we also head north on Friday - going to Thurso on the north coast to see my dad for the weekend !
