Hello friends. I told you that we came to the village. Today, my wife and I went to visit the beautiful sights of the village. As people living in apartments, we often need to see such open spaces and nature.

Merhaba arkadaşlar. Köye geldiğimizden sizlere bahsetmiştim. Bugün eşimle köyün güzel manzaralı olan yerlerini gezmeye gittik. Apartman dairelerinde oturan insanlar olarak böyle açık alanlar ve doğa görmeye sık sık ihtiyaç duyuyoruz.

Since the place we go to visit is quite far, it is very difficult to go on foot. More precisely, it is not a problem when going downhill, but walking uphill on the way back turns into a really great grind. That's why we wanted to go with our vehicle. However, it is still necessary to be very careful because the roads are narrow and winding, so it is necessary to be very careful with the vehicles coming from the opposite direction. I took pictures of these dangerous roads and I want to show you these. The slightest loss of attention can cause serious accidents. I hope this kind of accident does not happen to anyone.

After continuing on your way carefully, we finally came to places with beautiful views. I can't wait to share with you the photos I took with the view of the Turkuaz Lake, the extension of the Ermenek Dam. According to my father, before this dam was built, there were historical bridges to connect the district and the villages in the interior. When the construction of the Ermenek Dam started in the early 2000s, these bridges were flooded. Sitting against the dam, which is called Turquoise Lake due to its color flowing through the middle of the great mountain range, and watching the surroundings filled our eyes and hearts.

Dikkatli bir şekilde yolunuza devam ettikten sonra nihayet güzel manzaraların olduğu yerlere geldik. Ermenek Barajı'nın uzantısı, diğer adı Turkuaz Gölü manzaralı çektiğim fotoğraflarımı sizlerle paylaşmak için sabırsızlanıyorum. Babamın söylediğine göre bu baraj yapılmadan önce ilçe ile iç kesimlerdeki köylerin bağlantısını kurmak için tarihi köprüler varmış. 2000'li yılların başlarında Ermenek Barajı'niın yapımına başlandığında bu köprüler sular altında kalmış. Büyük sıradağların ortasından akan renginden dolayı Turkuaz Gölü diye adlandırılan baraja karşı oturmak ve etrafı seyretmek gözümüzü, gönlümüzü doyurdu.

The young people of the village, who had a barbecue and picnic on the edge of the dam, arranged a fire place for themselves. You have to be very careful because it is in the forest, but as far as I understand, the young people of this place are quite conscious because they surrounded the place where they lit the fire with stones and there was no garbage in the middle.

Baraj kenarında mangal ve piknik yapan köyün gençleri, kendilerine bir şömine ayarladı. Ormanda olduğu için çok dikkatli olmalısınız ama anladığım kadarıyla buranın gençleri oldukça bilinçli çünkü ateş yaktıkları yeri taşlarla çevrelemişler ve ortada çöp yok.

Looking at the steep cliffs above the mountains, I felt so small and defenseless, like a pebble, in the face of this pomp and majesty. The mountains and cliffs were as majestic as they were terrifying, and seemed to represent the power of nature. ⛰️🏞️🗻

*Dağların üstünde dik kayalıklara doğru bakınca kendimi bu gösteriş ve heybetin karşısında bir çakıl taşı gibi çok küçük ve savunmasız hissettim. Dağlar ve kayalıklar korkunç olduğu kadar heybetli gösterişli ve doğanın gücünü temsil ediyorlar gibiydi. ⛰️🏞️🗻
