Karma and Fate are both related and they sound the same. However, they are different and can be described in different ways. For instance, Karma is based on what you do in life and that's what prompts the adage that says whatever you sow you shall reap whereas Destiny is predicted, not by us but it has been written even before we were born.
Destiny also known as Fate can be considered a pre-written plan that has already been made. It states that you will be born to a certain place and have a certain set of people in your life, it also states what's your purpose in life and so many things that are important in a man's life.
On the other hand, Karma is about actions. If you perform well, you will receive good things from others. If you do not perform well, you will only get bad things.
Although Karma gives you the right to choose since there are choices in life, we have been given the liberty of freedom to do whatsoever we will, so the decision to do good or do bad lies solely on us but we should remember whatsoever we do has a reward in future.
Our Destiny is determined by God's plan and that's why the holy Bible said in Jeremiah 1 : 5 paraphrasing which says that before we were formed in our mothers womb he already knows us as he is the one who created us, and before we were given birth to he has blessed us and associated a particular path we are to pursue in life.
According to this there is no choice in destiny but we are to learn the lessons of life when we are going through the path of destiny.
We all have control over Karma and it is believed by the Hindu tradition that whatsoever one does in this present life will be passed to the next generation and this is what karma really is as our actions can have consequences on the generations to come.
The concept of karma includes both the action itself and the intent behind it. If the act itself is proven beyond reasonable doubt, then new karma can be created. The moral agent of new karma is the actor who commits an unjust act. This act must be regarded as a moral act and tried.
Mary Jo Meadow claims that the concept of karma is similar to the idea of sin. She goes on to say that the Christian teaching on Last Judgment is a teaching on karma. Although scholars agree that the concept of Last Judgment is different from karma, it is still considered a one-time review before one's death.
Harrison said that this principle requires people to be humble and accept that their actions have created the current reality of their lives. For instance, if you blame your colleagues for their poor performance, you should acknowledge that the actions were created by you and not by them.
The law of creation also emphasizes the importance of living life as it does not happen to everybody. Instead, it's up to us to make the most of our lives by taking action.
I believe that Destiny is what God has planned for you since birth. No one can change it, but what is going to happen is going to happen. Having a happy and positive attitude can help you during bad times. It can also prevent you from getting discouraged and losing hope. You can call it whatever you want, but it is the person who has the ultimate control over all of your actions and future.
Follow his example and take life as it comes. Destiny can never be changed, and it is up to us to make our own decisions. There are many ups and downs in life, and these are bound to happen.
The reality is that man is equipped with the means to deal with the various situations that come his way. He is free to respond to these as he likes. He is also free to choose what he wants to do, as long as he is given the infrastructure to do so. The fate of man is only half as important as the freedom to respond to the things that he likes.
The freedom granted to man has opened doors that are two kinds: one for those who are ambitious and rude, and one for those who are humble and modest. On the other hand, if he bows to his Lord and accepts his fate, then he will have fulfilled his God-given freedom.
One who chooses to follow this course will be rewarded with God's blessing as no other creature can. Prior to the advent of modern times, it was widely believed that events and actions were governed by the fate of humans. Today, belief in destiny is regarded as a superstition.
There are three schools of thought about fate. One of these is the belief that humans do have free will. This line of thinking goes on to say that there is no such thing as destiny or fate.
All of our actions and successes are governed by the decisions that we make. If we make the right decisions, then no one can stop us from achieving what we want. This line of thinking states that fate is a psychological defense system that people use to deal with the failures in life.
You may have blamed your bad luck for the failure, but you are not ready to accept that it was your fault. It may have been caused by a variety of factors, including a lack of effort and planning.
Accepting that you were the one who made the mistake feels like accepting defeat. Instead, you try to rationalize that it was your karma that caused the issue. It is said that there is a will, but how practical it is in today's world is something that is to be debated.
I believe that we can shape our destiny according to the values that we believe in. But, when we fail to follow through with these values, we lose faith in them. And then realize destiny has something different for us
Even though we work hard to achieve our goals, destiny still controls us and our future successes. When we fail to meet these goals, it feels like the destiny has no desire to see us become what we want. After a while, we start to focus on something else. We then believe that this is what the destiny wanted us to do, but on the other hand, this belief is a sign of a weak-minded person.
A strong person will always come what may to achieve his goals. He won't accept what he has to offer in order to reach his goals.
Before I leave us today, I will like to cite a biblical example of destiny not been able to be changed but can only be delayed, it is the story of Jabez whose mother tried to change his destiny by calling him.sorrow which changed the course of his life, he eventually realized that wasn't his destiny and cried out to God, God answered him and made him fulfill his destiny as who he was supposed to be. He was destined to be great but circumstances delayed his destiny.
Until we realize we all have a destiny and take the bull by the horn yo really know what our Destiny is all about, things might not go the way we plan.
