Spirituality is not a topic that can be exhausted in one day, it is a very wide concept. Spirituality means different things to different people. To some it is living a life that is void of evil and doing good, you can not say that this interpretation of spirituality is wrong.

We should note that religion and spirituality are two different things, Religion has to do with a collective belief of persons e.g Christianity, Islam or Hinduism while spirituality is an individual process to connect with a higher being (God).
For me personally my view of spirituality is trying to connect with something or a being that is higher than one's self. Inorder to exercise spirituality we usually have to link this search to a religion, this is to give us a sense of connection and satisfaction.
Spirituality to me is also a means of discovering ones purpose in life, because our role in life is more than what we do on a daily basis , take for an example a christian who needs God to communicate to him about finding his purpose in life, most times undergo a period of fasting and prayer and studying the Bible, This is to help connect with a supreme being which would help the individual discover his or her purpose in life.
Spirituality to me also is seeking happiness beyond our physical possession, one might have all the riches in the world but there is this feeling of emptiness and a void that needs to be filled.
I had a discussion with a friend and when talking about spirituality as a Christian he viewed it as the process of trying to "heal the broken relationship between Man and the Almighty God". To him that feeling of guilt and finding restoration is a spiritual process to achieving peace, and when he starts living a life that the Almighty approves of, then he has tended some level of spirituality.
Spirituality for me is when one has a relationship with a Supreme being i.e God, because as a Christian I believe in the Supremacy of God, when one has attained a level of connection then it can be said he or she has discovered some level of spirituality.
