Unlike other models, Stable Diffusion is open source and does not artificially limit the images it produces.
It can run on user's hardware equipped with a graphics card (GPU), it's completely free, it can even be run through Google Colab.
One of the advantages of Stable Diffusion is the possibility that it can be retrained by anyone. This has contributed to the fact that the community has managed to obtain different optimized models that have contributed to raising the quality of the generated images.
