Have you ever heard of a Raclette?

My turn to make the team lunch with the use of the raclette

Finally came around to my turn and I wanted to do something different.

Organised the purchase of a raclette

This is the raclette - plugs into the electricity - and grills and bakes at the same time

Each person gets a spade and a container into which they put their vegetables to be baked under the grill. Adding a slice of cheese which melts is the way to go.

This is definitely a great way to share a meal with friends and colleagues.

First the shopping and the preparation.
I bought salmon, steak and chicken as well as some cold meats, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, onions and cheese slices as well as a french loaf.
The shopping

Vegetables prepared

Stuffed Olives and Feta, cold meat and sliced cheese

SalmonSteak andChicken

Diced Vegetables

Sliced French Loaf

Table set

Loading the food on the grill

The team really enjoyed this experience and I'm sure we will have many more experiences with it.

Now I want a raclette too!!

Amazing appliance - and great for socialising @noemilunastorta

What a great way to entertain, it must have been a real fun experience for everyone!

It really was @lizelle - and everyone enjoys cooking so quite a nice experience - almost like a fondue but only much better because you roast your veggies underneath and cook your meat on top.

Racellete sounds useful for house party, i was not aware of it... today i came to know about new appliance...

It was also new to me recently @gargi - and now it looks like I'm advertising it. Really a useful appliance. Also so sociable

hahaha... you became ambassador of Raclette 😂😜

We love doing raclette dinner. I am going to have to add the stuffed green olives next time.

Yes, the olives are a nice touch. Nice thing about a raclette is you can add any vegetable that you like @derangedvisions. Most important is the fellowship.

Ya, we always have so much fun together when we do raclette. At home hot pot is a lot of fun as well.

Hot pot is also a favourite of mine - but not sociable like raclette @derago21
