Banana jam/ Mermelada de banana

Hello to all the community of @Foodiesbeehive, I hope to God that everyone is well. Today I bring you a recipe made with a fruit that can be easily found in the market, rich in vitamins and minerals, ideal for children and for the not so children too hehehehe. A Cambur or banana jam, ideal to go with toast or cookies.

Hola a toda la comunidad de @Foodiesbeehive, espero en Dios que todos se encuentren bien. Hoy les traigo una receta realizada con una fruta que se puede encontrar fácilmente en el mercado, rica en vitaminas y minerales, ideal para los niños y para los no tan niños también jejeje. Una Mermelada de Cambur o banana, ideal para acompañar con unas tostadas o galletas.



INGREDIENTS

500 g of ripe Cambur or bananas
200 g sugar
Juice of ½ lemon
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
50 ml of water

INGREDIENTES

500 g de Cambur o bananas maduros
200 g de azúcar
El jugo de ½ limón
1 Cucharadita de Canela en polvo
50 ml de agua



PREPARATION

Weigh and prepare all the ingredients to use

Pesamos y preparamos todos los ingredientes a utilizar

Place the camburs in a pot and mash them with a fork until they are mashed.

En una olla colocamos los cambures y los trituramos con un tenedor, hasta volverlos puré

To this puree add the juice of ½ lemon, cinnamon, sugar, water and mix.

A este puré le agregamos el jugo de ½ limón, la canela, el azúcar, el agua y mezclamos.

Take to the stove and cook over medium heat for approximately 20 minutes, until it thickens. Stir constantly to avoid burning or sticking to the bottom of the pan.

Llevamos a la estufa y cocinaremos a fuego medio por aproximadamente 20 minutos, hasta que espese. Revolver constantemente para evitar que se queme o se pegue la preparación en el fondo de la olla.

Once the cooking time has elapsed, let cool and serve. Here my daughter holding the jam to enjoy with the family.

Una vez transcurrido el tiempo de cocción, dejar enfriar y servir. Aquí mi hija sosteniendo la mermelada para luego disfrutar en familia.
