You can always switch the dried fish for nuts if you're strictly vegan hehe
I just think that we should have a balance of Veggies and protein, hence the fish. π
I'm nuts about nuts. Haha. That's a good substitute. π
Although I haven't had any problems with it, protein deficiency is a valid concern, and I have not eaten fish for a long time so I'm guessing that I get enough from vegetarian sources since I don't actively count my nutritional intake on a daily basis. Also, each body is different and protein requirements differ from person to person. If eating fish works for you then go lang kung saan ka masaya. π
