The salad I made last night for dinner: spinach, crab sticks, quinoa, eggs, paprika, cucumber.

Sometimes when I want to have an idea about what to prepare to have my meals, I place all the food I want to use on top of the kitchen counter, and once I take a look at it, my mind puts it all together into a dish. Most of the time the result is exactly what I had in mind, even though sometimes the result is something I wouldn’t repeat. Focusing only on the positive, I like to think about myself as a creative person who likes to invent and make different things all the time and twist all the ingredients I consume daily to do different dishes and not the same all the time. Of course, I have my favorite dishes like everybody, but each time I can mix things up a little bit, I feel excited about the new combinations of tastes and colors. Last night I decided to make a salad, which turned out to be very tasty and great, so I recommend it to you now.

The ingredients I used to make this simple yet delicious salad are:

1 whole spinach
3 eggs
½ package of crab sticks
50 g of quinoa seeds
½ paprika
½ cucumber
curry
mayonnaise, mustard, salt

The first thing I did was wash all the vegetables and the eggs. This is an important step because sometimes the vegetables can contain dirt and bacteria, which could potentially be bad for our health, and also the eggs, of course, are best if everything is well washed with a lot of water and vinegar.

After this, I chopped the paprika into small pieces, and I put a small pot filled with water on the stove at high flame, and once it was boiling, I added the quinoa seeds, the paprika that I previously had chopped, and some curry. It was cooking there for approximately 15-20 minutes.

In another pot filled with boiling water, I added the eggs, to let them cook for about 20 minutes also.

In the meantime, I peeled the whole cucumber, and using a knife I cut it into small circles, using only half of it. I chopped the crab sticks also, into small pieces.

On a cup, I added some mayonnaise, mustard, salt, a pinch of sugar, and olive oil, and all of this mixture would be the classic dressing that I always use for most of the salads that I make.

After straining separately the quinoa and also the eggs, I proceed to cut the eggs into small slices, and then I started to put together the whole salad.

First I added the spinach, and making space in the middle I put the quinoa, and then on top of all of that, I placed the cucumber slices, the eggs, the crab sticks, and finally the dressing.

Together everything tasted nice, and I think it was perfect as a diner because it was very light and cute because of all the colors. Healthy from all the properties of the quinoa, the spinach, and the rest of the ingredients, I highly recommend it.

I hope you like it as well, and I thank and salute whoever took the time to check on this post, a big hug and best of wishes for all of you.

¡Regards!
