I really want to say that in this world there are so many kinds of food that will amaze you. Being someone who likes to read some writings on the hive, especially foodie, this makes me learn a lot about other foods from all over the country. I never knew what quinoa, lentils and many more were like. It feels very sad, right?

So, I am so happy to be a member here. There are many things I can learn, there are many types of recipes that I try to learn and there are many things that I never knew became very fun now. It turns out, it was a happiness that I didn't realize.

One of them is about how I learned to cook and learn recipes. I was so bored with all the food that I often ate, so when I liked a recipe, I wanted to execute it immediately. Of course all that takes time to learn.


Salted Egg Pao

Until finally, I really like salted egg and make a food filling with it. Have you ever imagined salted egg as a sweet snack? Of course this food exists and I learned it at foodie.

I've made Pao before. I think everyone can read my post about Pao in the last few posts. I don't have to explain again how to make pao dough. It's very easy, you have to have yeast, flour, sugar, salt and water. Until it rises like I have, then it's time to make the Pao filling from salted egg.

This part is not difficult at all. It's just a bit tricky and requires special attention. Making it is indeed very easy, like snapping your fingers. Oh, I'm just kidding! Of course you need 3 salted eggs that have a very deep salty taste. Boil them and take only the egg yolks.

The egg whites can be used for other foods, can be a side dish for lunch. I mixed it with stir-fried water spinach and the taste really made me very happy. Of course because there were no remaining ingredients, all were used and filling.

I crushed the 3 salted egg yolks using a fork. The purpose of being smoothed is to have a texture like sand when bitten. Then with other ingredients such as 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1 packet of vanilla fla, salt, sugar and 150 ml of milk. Then all the ingredients are mixed and heated until thickened. I hope you use low heat so that it doesn't burn on the bottom of the pan.

Now, while waiting for the salted egg filling to cool. So, I took some parts of the Pao dough and weighed 40 grams. Then, I flattened it and filled it with salted egg. Don't forget you have heated the steamer so that when all the pao are ready to be formed and heated immediately for 15 minutes.

After getting a beautiful shape, then everything is ready to be steamed! After steaming, the salted egg pao is ready to eat and is perfect as a friend to drink coffee.
