Have you ever tried a Crispy & Crunchy Fish fry

Hello Hive community, Its a long time I posted anything in hive. Welcome to my new post. Today I am going to make a crispy & crunchy fish fry. So lets move to the making side.

INREDIENTS

  • Indian Mackerel - 2
  • Cumin - 1tsp
  • Garlic cloves - a few cloves
  • Shallots - 1nos
  • Red chilli powder - 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Green chilli - 1nos
  • Curry leaves - 2 leaf
  • Roasted semolina - 1/4 cup
  • Imily - a small piece
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 30 gm
  • Water - 1/4 cup

PREPARATION

Take 2 cleaned and washed Indian Mackerel.

Next we have to make the masala for coating the fish. So lets move to it. In a small grinder add all the ingredients listed below simultaneously. First add 1 tsp cumin.

Then add 1 shallot.

Then a few garlic cloves.

Add green chilli.

Then add 1tsp red chilli powder.

Add 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.

Then add 1 curry leaf.

A small piece of imily.

Then add enough salt to taste.

Add 1tsp of roasted semolina.

Then add 1/4 cup water for paste.

Grind upto a paste.

Marinate the paste with the fish and rest for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes prepare the roasted semolina for coating the marinated fish.

Coat the semolina on both sides and rest them for another 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes it became coated well. Prepare for frying. Put a hot pan and pour oil.

Fry the fish upto a brown colour.

Fry both sides.

The dish is ready, serve hot.
