Hello to all the @FoodiesBeeHive community, I wish you a happy weekend. Today I bring you a delicious and very easy to prepare recipe like churros.
Los churros son algo típico en Venezuela, sirve como merienda para deleitarse en las tardes. Es algo económico de preparar, te lo puedes comer con dulce de leche que también es conocido en el algunos países como Arequipe o con sirope de chocolate, lo puedes acompañar con un café o bebida que prefieras. En mi caso lo preparé con Dulce de leche (Arequipe).
Churros are something typical in Venezuela, it serves as a snack to enjoy in the afternoons. It is inexpensive to prepare, you can eat it with dulce de leche which is also known in some countries as Arequipe or with chocolate syrup, you can accompany it with a coffee or drink of your choice. In my case I prepared it with Dulce de leche (Arequipe).
250 gramos de harina de trigo (todo uso).
40 gramos de margarina o mantequilla.
1 taza de agua.
Pizca de sal.
Cantidad de azúcar necesaria.
Aceite (para freír).
Huevo (opcional).
INGREDIENTS .
- 250 grams of wheat flour (all purpose).
- 40 grams of margarine or butter.
- 1 cup of water.
- Pinch of salt.
- Amount of sugar needed.
- Oil (for frying).
- Egg (optional).
Colocamos el agua junto con la mantequilla o margarina, la pizca de sal, la cucharada de azúcar en una olla a fuego medio. Revolver y esperar que hierva, cuando esté hirviendo agregamos poco a poco la harina de trigo (todo uso) y mezclamos rápidamente con una paleta de manera hasta que logres conseguir una masa uniforme;en mi caso no use huevo, sabras cuando este lista la mezcla completamente cuando se despegue de la olla y empiece a forma una bola de masa. Retire del fuego; deje enfriar la masa durante 5 minutos y luego colócala dentro la manga pastelera o churrera con una boquilla de estrella, monta un caldero o sartén con suficiente aceite a fuego medio/alto, cuando el aceite esté bien caliente comienza a colocar las tiras de churros en el caldero o sartén con mucho cuidado ya que puede salpicar, a lo que estén dorados lo vamos sacando y poniendo en un plato, luego lo pasamos por azúcar y listos para comer.
Put the water together with the butter or margarine, the pinch of salt, the spoonful of sugar in a pot over medium heat. Stir and wait for it to boil, when it is boiling add little by little the wheat flour (all purpose) and mix quickly with a paddle until you get a uniform dough; in my case I did not use egg, you will know when the mixture is completely ready when it comes off the pot and starts to form a ball of dough. Remove from heat; let the dough cool for 5 minutes and then place it inside the pastry bag or churrera with a star nozzle, mount a pot or pan with enough oil over medium / high heat, when the oil is very hot begin to place the strips of churros in the pot or pan very carefully because it can splash, when they are golden brown we will take them out and put them on a plate, then we pass them through sugar and ready to eat.

Tiene que intentarlo poco a poco hasta que le quede a la perfección, la practica hace al maestro.
