Hola queridos amigos de Hive. Con mucha emoción quiero compartir con ustedes un tema muy especial titulado “Dios te Guarde”, obra del reconocido cantautor llanero Jorge Guerrero, quien con su poesía y sentimiento ha dejado una huella profunda en la música tradicional venezolana.

En esta ocasión lo interpreto en el tono de Re Mayor, acompañado por el sonido mágico y envolvente del arpa, ejecutada con gran maestría por el talentoso Maestro Ramón Páez, cuyo acompañamiento aporta fuerza, dulzura y autenticidad a esta presentación. La unión de la voz y el arpa busca transmitir la esencia pura del llano.

Este aporte lo realizo con mucho cariño como parte de mi participación en el Hive Music Festival Semana 164, Ronda 2, un espacio que nos invita a celebrar la diversidad cultural y a compartir con el mundo la riqueza de nuestras tradiciones. Cada semana este festival se convierte en un puente que une corazones a través de la música, y me llena de alegría ser parte de esta experiencia junto a tantos creadores y amantes del arte.

Hello dear friends of Hive. It is with great excitement that I share with you a very special song entitled “Dios te Guarde” (God Keep You Safe), written by renowned singer-songwriter Jorge Guerrero, who has left a deep mark on traditional Venezuelan music with his poetry and emotion.

On this occasion, I perform it in the key of D major, accompanied by the magical and enveloping sound of the harp, played with great mastery by the talented Maestro Ramón Páez, whose accompaniment brings strength, sweetness, and authenticity to this performance. The union of voice and harp seeks to convey the pure essence of the plains.

I make this contribution with great affection as part of my participation in the Hive Music Festival Week 164, Round 2, a space that invites us to celebrate cultural diversity and share the richness of our traditions with the world. Each week, this festival becomes a bridge that unites hearts through music, and I am filled with joy to be part of this experience alongside so many creators and lovers of art.
