RE: The Power of Opposition in the Face of Growing Tyranny

in Economics4 years ago

In India there is a complete differrnt scenario. If we talk about politics then there is no opposition face that stand against the government. This government ks ruling the country for a decade now and doing all possible measure for the welfare of the society. ..the opposition couldn't manage to tackle the Supreme majority of the government.

However when we talks about the public as opposition, then recent repeal of farm laws js a great example. The farmer stage agitation for almost a year and successfully complet government to take back the law. .....by Taking this law back the government again won sympathy of general public and set to rule another 5 years..

Opposition needs to come from the people. Political opposition is either controlled or non-existent. Forcing the Government to remove those farm laws is a good first step. It should give the people encouragement to step up again in the future.

It took a hell lot of effort..farmers from northern part simply blocked many highway for MO ths..and held agitation dsy and night....and finally the government get to bow
