Barquisimeto, conocida como la capital musical y ciudad crepuscular de Venezuela, fue fundada el 14 de septiembre de 1552 por el segoviano Juan de Villegas. Originalmente llamada Nueva Segovia de Barquisimeto, la ciudad fue trasladada tres veces hasta 1563, cuando se estableció en su ubicación actual. Esta ciudad es una de las más antiguas de Venezuela y ha jugado un papel crucial en la historia y desarrollo del país.

FOUNDATION OF BARQUISIMETO
Barquisimeto, known as the musical capital and twilight city of Venezuela, was founded on September 14, 1552 by the Segovian Juan de Villegas. Originally called Nueva Segovia de Barquisimeto, the city was moved three times until 1563, when it was established in its present location. This city is one of the oldest in Venezuela and has played a crucial role in the history and development of the country.
