One way would be to make sure your other site users know about hive and 3Speak. I know of your Youtube because of my wife she watches and enjoys some of your videos.
One of the easiest ways to build an audience here is what you are doing, reply to a few of the comments, if you start to get a lot of comments still reply to at least a few of the ones that peak your interest and give it a small vote so people can see you believe in opening a dialog.
When doing a video link drop, add a small paragraph about what the video contains. It does not need to be a total recap, just something like:
I have not watched your video yet so I don't know what it contains.
There's no secret sauce that I'm aware of. Most activity here is organic.
But, don't be dismayed, your view count is not 100% accurate. It doesn't count users that are blocking cookies on their browsers (eg. Brave Browser) which is quite a lot of us.
