Tita Mommy’s Love:Featuring this Cute Little Niece of Mine

Konnichiwa, dear Hivers! It’s me again, your proud provincial girl Swtzyserrah, and I’m back again to share another blog of mine. Do you miss me? Say yes, please, because I really miss interacting with y’all. Anyway, in this blog, I just want to flex my cute yet naughty mushroom niece. Shall we start? Alright,

On December 5, 2023, God gave us this adorable and charming baby. She was so fragile yet lovely when her mom gave birth to her; I really can’t stop looking at her. Just like my favorite fruit apple, her lips are red, and those pair of cute eyes were really mesmerizing. She’s indeed a beautiful and adorable baby. In my mind, I badly want to touch her, but I hate the fact that I might hurt her that time because her size was too tiny. That’s the reason why I just look at her from afar. By the way, her name is Ayesha. Lovely, right?

Day-by-day, my cute little niece gains weight; she’s a good eater, and I thank God for that. Her mom, who was my second-degree cousin, chose to breastfeed her. I can’t stop my giggles every time I hear her cute laugh. Also, her burp is so cute. I don’t know why, but when it comes to babies, I’m so weak.

There was a time when my cousin asked me to carry Ayesha because she badly wanted to pee. I was hesitant at that time, but I’m really wondering if I can carry her in my arms, as I told you that she’s so fragile that I’m afraid I can do anything that can hurt her. But my cousin assured me that I can do it; she even told me that it’s a piece of cake. I said yes to her, and then she taught me how to hold the baby properly, which I did. I was so proud of myself for successfully carrying little Ayesha in my arms. After peeing, my cousin gives little Ayesha to me for the reason that the adorable baby needs to eat, and then I hand Ayesha to her mommy carefully.

Since I’m a college student and our school is a bit far from our house, my parents decided to get me a boarding house, so I barely see our cute little angel. But it's not a hindrance to see little Ayesha. Every time I missed Ayesha, I asked her mother to do a video call because I wanted to see my cute and pretty niece. Luckily, she agreed.

There are times that my niece is sleeping, so her mother just sent me some photos of her. This was our cycle every time I'm far from my little ayie (it was a given nickname to Ayesha), and I suddenly missed her.

Do you know what really excites me the most? Every time I go home, there are lots of changes in our Ayesha. She can speak some words and can walk, finally. Every time I go home, I’m really surprised by her improvements; she’s really a fast learner.

My summer vacation was really fantastic. I spend most of my time babysitting my niece, and her mother was really happy because she has a helping hand in taking care of Ayesha. It’s really hard and tiring work if you are babysitting a toddler. There are times that I will be asked to put her (my niece) to sleep—do you know what? It's really me who will sleep first, not her. Have you experienced this scenario? Funny right? Imagine you sang all the songs that you knew just to put her to sleep, but the ending was that you'd be the first one to sleep.

This was the time when my cousin asked me to babysit Ayesha since she needed to go to the market to buy some personal items. Of course, who am I to decline? . As I was babysitting my cutie patitot niece, I often teased her; she would cry, of course, because you know a baby is really a cry baby. That time she was crying, but when I handed her the phone of her mother, her tears suddenly stopped and changed with a smile. She mouthed “Sark,” which means that video on YouTube entitled “baby shark." Cute right? Every time I'm kind of tired from chasing her, because our dearest baby was like an athlete; she ran as fast as she could, and of course I'm responsible for her safety, so I'll be tailing her all the time and never losing my vision to her. I always played all the nursery rhymes that I had downloaded on my phone for her to sit and don't make any moves.

Her grandmother was almost done sweeping their front yard when this cute Ayesha got the broom from her grandmother. I laughed hard when she destroyed the group of leaves that her grandmother had. The place was full of laughter due to what Ayesha did.

This photo was taken when we visited my aunt. My aunt offered us some snacks. I teased her again and put the whole pack of Oreo biscuits on her t-shirts. She didn't complain. She's naughty sometimes, but I really love this mushroom.

Not Ayesha pretending that she can understand what she saw or, should I say, read? I couldn't really stop my smile that time; imagine that was my first time witnessing her being like that. I told her mother about what she did, and she just said that Ayesha always did that every time she saw that booklet. She's really adorable.

There were times when her mother was busy folding some clothes, and then little Ayesha came to the picture and destroyed everything. She’s really naughty, but this little baby is scared of her mother, there are times that she’s bored exploring their room and then she will start to cry when she heard her mother’s voice she will stop crying and then will just lay on their bed.

That Mikymouse stuff toy is not hers; she just got it from Jerlyn Mae; luckily, JM willingly gave her the stuff toy.

I always teased her; that’s why she always cried, but of course I will give her a reward afterwards.

Babysitting or raising a toddler is really tiring, but at the same time, it’s kind of exciting. What matters most are the efforts that all parents put in to make sure that their children will grow up in a family-oriented environment. And as for my parents, especially my mother, thank you for taking good care of me, for being my best friend and adviser, and most especially for molding me into a strong, responsible, and independent woman.
