You can tell that humanity got many of its ideas about flying from birds. They live it, they've perfected it, and they fly with grace, soar with purpose, and can land in a way that makes it all look easy. Of course we had to learn many things the hard way and continue to do so, but I think there are still many inspirations and insights we can take from how birds fly to apply to how we can do it more like they do.
