Dear community, this week, which is a free topic to publish, I want to show you an endemic species from southern Mexico, its common name is ocellated turkey or ocellated turkey, it is very similar to its brother the commercial turkey, but this species lives in the jungle Maya from Mexico, both the male and the female have very bright and colorful feathers that shine much more in the sun, it is a species that is taller than the commercial turkey, and always walks in groups of more than 6 (the one in the photo I was half lost at the airport), it is a very calm species and is easy to capture, which is why it is in danger of extinction because people hunt it to eat it.
