RE: THE HOUSE OF EYES ~ Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 111

Oh yah! Spring is coming. I am always mesmerized by the thought of from winter comes spring because In my country with only two seasons the wet and dry season, the feeling of the coldness in the morning followed by the early mornings of spring is like magic! I bet you will be busy again for many outdoor activities can be done.
On my side, well we are always busy regardless the season.😍😍

Although Winter is my least favorite season, we still try and get outside and stay busy.
Making Maple syrup, tending to our walnut plantation, and of course, shoveling snow keeps us from getting cabin fever.

Where we live, most folks say we have five seasons, with the extra season being the muddy season which we're in right now.

Oh really there is a bonus season... Haha.
Wow! Making your own maple syrup and having a walnut plantation! That is awesome! What do you do with the walnuts? Walnuts here are super expensive because I don't think it grows here in my weather, hmmmm not sure but they are pretty expensive and mostly you can buy them in the duty free shops.
For us we have a mango and cashew orchard plus some avocados, bananas and coconuts. Enough to keep us busy as well.😍😍
Hope to see your walnut trees soon, hope you will tag me if ever you will make a post on them because ai have never seen a walnut tree in my life before!😁😄🤭🤭🤭
funny, when I was young one of my wish or dream was to be able to touch and experience real snow, Shoveling snow I would love to try as well!!

But my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law who lives in the states told me, oh my you will just love snow on the first few days but after you will dislike it because you can't really do much outside because of the cold..... Haha.... We'll talk about dreaming of snow!😄😄😄

Have a great week ahead and you got to put on your mud boots!!😊👍

Sorry for this late reply, but we had most of our family visiting for the past several days.
We harvest the walnuts every year and enjoy eating them straight, mixed in with different loaves of bread that @farm-mom makes, but the best is adding some maple syrup to them and pouring it over ice cream.
