ListNerds: First Impressions

Could this aid towards an extra income for members of the Silverbloggers Community?

Well, it’s still early days for me on ListNerds, so I can’t give it a firm yes or no.

I can, however, give you my opinion and let you know what I’ve learned so far, plus what my action plan is for ListNerds.

Currently, I’m on a free account, which has its limitations. Before we get into the details of Free vs Paid, let me give you a bit of a breakdown of what LISTNERDS is about.

In a nutshell, ListNerds is a Blockchain-based email marketing system that rewards you for sending, receiving, and confirming email links.

There are three different tokens.

1- Mail

Mail tokens allow you to send mail to other LISTNERD users.

2- CTP

CTP tokens are the primary token for earning by reading and verifying emails.

3- LISTNERDS

This is the primary token you’ll earn for sending emails.

With both CTP & LISTNERDS, you can earn a passive income by staking them. The amount you’ll earn will depend on the amount you have staked vs the total amount staked across the site.

Next, let’s look at the options available. Check the screenshot below:

As you can see the higher the package, the more benefits there are. As mentioned, I’m on a free account that allows me to send out an email every 7 days. I’ve managed to click through enough links on emails in ListNerds, to enable me to send out an email to over 1000 members. This was done in about 4 days, so there are enough emails coming through the system to enable me to send out a decent amount.

The big question though, is can you make a profit from this?

I can’t give you a firm yes or no answer. What I can do is show you how much others have earned so far.

As you can see there’s a substantial difference in earnings between the top ten and bottom 50 on the Top Earners List. I can’t say why some are earning much more than others, but I’ve noticed many of the names among the Top 10 have been popping up on my emails in ListNerds daily. Perhaps it’s consistency, but I’ll ask members of the community to chip in here: @itsmylife, @beststart, @bradleysfi.

By the way, these are all members I’ve now made connections with on HIVE! If anything else, ListNerds is a great way to build some new connections.
Just looking at the ListNerds Richlist #1 and #50, their account values are around 14,782 HIVE & 380 HIVE respectively, since 1 LISTNERD equals 2 HIVE. That doesn’t look bad at all.

I’ve come across 2 members’ posts who have claimed to have made substantial amounts of LISTNERDS over a relatively short period. These were both in the 3000 LISTNERDS range over a two-month period. Wow!

Now, let’s look at the total amounts of LISTNERDS and CTP tokens below:

There are 100,000 placed on the market at 2 HIVE per LISTNERD. Whether it will be able to hold that value, I’m not sure. Again, users who have been on the platform longer may have better answers, so keep an eye on the comments.

Looking at the Senders in the above image, you earn LISTNERDS by receiving votes on the mail you send. Votes are limited though, so members will be using them sparingly. I realized that after I cast 4 votes, then had to wait for my voting power to recharge, which is 20% a day. The more votes you receive, the more LISTNERDS you earn. 20 is the minimum requirement though, so anything less you won’t be earning anything.

There are loads of training and informational videos to get you started. I’m still busy working my way through the affiliate ClickTrackProfit training videos, so I’m not going to place emphasis on that just yet. Existing users can chip in there if they’d like to.

It seems to hold great potential. You can link your Hive posts to the emails, which I’m going to attempt with this one.

In conclusion, I would suggest signing up, starting off with the free version, and seeing if this is something that may work for you. Get a feel for the platform, then decide if you’d like to attempt a paid version. Like anything though, it’s going to take time and effort, so be prepared to grease those creaky old bones, haha. I’m going to give the paid-for version a whirl. My goal is to grow my account and be able to at least cover my costs. Let’s see how it goes!
