The last of the guests have left, and the dishes have been washed, and what we call "Turkey Day" has been navigated for another year!
For those of you who celebrated today, I hope your Thanksgiving was a good one! We're planning to continue our holiday weekend by sleeping in tomorrow.
It was fun and all, but I have just never been particularly into socializing and "peopling." And that even applies to friends, I'm sorry to say!
Not going anywhere Black Friday sales, or even stores of any kind, although I do have a couple of "high traffic" items to list for sale on eBay tomorrow.
Mostly, I need to continue working on getting ready for a couple of arts and crafts shows Mrs. Denmarkguy and I will be vending at, during a couple of weekends in December.
Been looking at some of my informal goals I set for myself for 2024, and it looks like I'm going to fall quite short on pretty much every front... which serves as a reminder of why I don't bother with "hard" goals or new years resolutions and such... I have long since learned that things can easily go much worse than even your most negative estimates.
Not going to dwell on it too much, though... I'm pretty sure my experience is not typical, so I'll stick to simply being grateful for having an experience.
After all, today was about what we're thankful for in our lives, and there's always something to be grateful for, even when life seems quite difficult and challenging.
Going to make this a short post, as I have already screwed up once by clicking "Publish" when I meant to click "Save."
Thanks for visiting and have a great remainder of your holiday weekend!

Greetings bloggers and social content creators! This article was created via PeakD, a blogging application that's part of the Hive Social Content Experience. If you're a blogger, writer, poet, artist, vlogger, musician or other creative content wizard, come join us! Hive is a little "different" because it's not run by a "company;" it operates via the consensus of its users and your content can't be banned, censored, taken down or demonetized. And that COUNTS for something, in these uncertain times! So if you're ready for the next generation of social content where YOU retain ownership and control, come by and learn about Hive and make an account!

Glad your Thanksgiving went well. It was quiet here, just decorating the tree.
