I just listed God's Own Supermarket ahead of ShoKiN day 2

I succeeded to list another business today in my efforts to promote the SpendHBD project in Aba, Nigeria. It was particularly tough since I was also attending to a sick family member in the hospital. But then, I had agreed with the shop attendant to list this business today and I did. So we have one more business in Aba that accepts HBD.

This listing makes sense because our group shopping activity for the second time will happen on in few days from now. So on that day, we will likely go and shop at this new business to help create more awareness about SpendHBD.

God's Own Int'l SuperMarket

This business is could best be described as a super store. The term supermarket is used loosely in this part of the world. God's Own Int'l SuperMarket is located at 82 Pound Road, Aba, Abia State Nigera. It is a grocery shop. They sell a lot of Goods including wine, toiletries, biscuits, cream, wears, and many other things.

I met the shop attendant who happens to be the wife of the owner. After explaining what the project was all about, she was eager to have their business be part of it. Of course, she was initial sceptical about crypto, believing its all about scam. For many that are not into crypto, that is what they think about it here. But I quickly assured here that it is legitimate and has nothing to do with criminal activity. It was not too difficult to convince her. Within a short time, I waas already signing up the shop's Hive account. Then, I quickly listed the business on distriator.

Demonstrating how to generate receipts

I had to show the attendant how to use the v4v app to generate the QR codes. She is a fast learner and it wasn't a tough thing to do. She mastered it quickly. So I became their first customer from the SpendHBD project by purchasing bread and a packet of biscuit. It was all smooth. She generated the code and I paid. After that I showed her how to claim my discount from distriator. She learnt it fast. Of course, she practiced it over and over and it became easy to do. Below is the transaction post I did there.

ShoKiN Day 2 - 4th November, 2024.

Our group shopping activity will happen on Monday, the 4th day of November 2024. It was originally supposed to be tomorrow (Saturday). We had to move it to Monday because there is a State election happening in the city tomorrow. So since people will be engaged and there will be restricted movement, it will not be possible to do the ShoKiN event on Saturday. Hence we have moved it to Monday.

So I also use this avenue to let all users that are part of ShoKiN to be away of the new date for the event. I also want to announce that we will visit the newly listed business so that they will see the value that SpendHBD will bring to their business. We will meet at 208 Azikiwe road Aba, before we move to the shopping location.

Finally

SpendHBD is a nice project that will transform the history of shopping in Nigeria. I will continue to do my best to list more businesses and get new users from the locations. Everyone wins in this project and we can drive the mass adoption of Hive blockchain from this project.
