Esta semana elegí una canción que para mi habla sobre el valor de amarnos a nosotros mismos. La valentía de atreverse a defender nuestra identidad y valores como la honestidad. La honestidad que no nos deja ir por caminos donde podamos aprovecharnos de otros jugando un papel de gente honrada.

He visto a tantos caer en ese juego porque cuando la tentación toca a la puerta muchos la dejan entrar, así personas que se llamaban a sí mismas honestas, dejan caer la máscara y terminan envueltos en situaciones que pueden llevarlos a cometer grandes pecados, llegando incluso a afectar el bienestar de otras personas. Gente que literalmente juega con el pan de otros y no les importa, gente con poder que cae en la bajeza tan solo por probar cuán poderosos son.

Es lamentable que esto suceda y siento que principalmente se debe al hecho de que la valentía ha salido por la puerta, para ser una persona honesta se requiere valentía y no todos la poseen como para decir No cuando la avaricia y la codicia tocan a la puerta.

This week I chose a song that for me speaks about the courage to love ourselves. The courage to dare to defend our identity and values such as honesty. The honesty that doesn't let us go down paths where we can take advantage of others by playing the role of honest people.

I have seen so many fall into that game because when temptation knocks at the door many let it in, so people who called themselves honest, drop the mask and end up involved in situations that can lead them to commit great sins, even affecting the welfare of others. People who literally play with the bread of others and do not care, people with power who fall into baseness just to prove how powerful they are.

It is unfortunate that this happens and I feel it is mainly due to the fact that courage has gone out the door, to be an honest person requires courage and not everyone has the courage to say no when greed and avarice knocks at their door.

Flowers habla sobre la valentía de elegir el camino correcto, dejando atrás algo o alguien que si bien te provee algún tipo de bienestar te hace pagar un precio muy alto. ¿Valen acaso los lujos sabiendo que has pasado por encima de otros para tenerlos?

Espero que siempre seas tan honesto como puedas, pero no ese tipo de persona que se cree honesta porque dice todo lo que se le viene a la mente, sino el tipo de persona honesta que no se deja llevar por la tentación de TENER, olvidando el ser.

Sigamos disfrutando del aroma de las flores en el camino, sigamos con pie firme y siendo valientes, genuinos y realmente honestos.
