RE: Hive FAQ: Feedback on Improvement

in Hive Improvement4 years ago

The first thing I think I would change if we are looking at making the FAQ a universal tool for other front ends also is to do away with references to hive.blog and make it more general and generic to hive.io or hive block chain.

Most of the current FAQ is hive.blog specific, how to's for a front end should be part of the front end FAQ's.
It is not going to be an easy task if the goal is to
1. Rewrite the FAQ to make it usable with any frontend and to answer questions in general then it needs to move forward with that intent.

What is block chain technology (a general description of what a block chain is)
What is HIVE Block Chain? (What makes Hive different from other block chains)
What is the Hive Token and HBD token? Why two of them? (Explain the Hive token and HBD token and their different uses)
How do we earn tokens?
Where do I turn when things go wrong?
I am sure there will be a whole lot more, but the type questions above are all general and not specif to an individual front end. Even in the old FAQ where they talk about security a lot has changed.
That's it for now.
