Saturday was pretty hard to watch, the Sixers were without Embiid and the Cavs ae just a buzz saw in 2024/25. I was hoping to see the Sixers compete better and inject some optimism but they were clearly outmatched especially without their big man. The team is still attempting to build chemistry as it is on top of it all. But I think that game could be the humbling they needed. They may be making baby steps in terms of improving, but they still have a long way to go in the big picture.
Tonight the team attempts to get back on track but the task is not going to be easy as the Spurs are in town. The Spurs are an intriguing, improving team led by second year star big man Victor Wembanyama along with the forever solid veteran point guard Chris Paul. The age difference between these two is nuts. The overall star power on the court tonight is going to be pretty top notch. This is a nice test for the Sixers especially with Embiid on the court.
Chris Paul, Joel Embiid, Victor Wembanyama, Paul George, Tyrese Maxey. Rare times!! This will be a fun throwback game to look back on one hundred percent. In the City of Brotherly love, two days before Christmas!! Doesn't get much better than this as a sports fan. ⛄️🏀🎅🎁
Let's hope the Sixers get it done though!
