- Good evening hivefood friends, I hope you had a great Saturday! Below I will explain in an "easy and simple" way how to prepare some exquisite "French toast with cinnamon". The magic of this recipe is found in the appetizing moist and soft texture that the bread acquires and in the aromatic flavor that the cinnamon provides... Let's put on our apron to begin our wonderful process!
- Buenos días amigos de hivefood, espero que hayan pasado un sábado genial! A continuación, les explico de forma "fácil y sencilla" como preparar unas exquisitas "tostadas francesas con canela". La magia de ésta receta la encontramos en la apetitosa textura húmeda y suave que adquiere el pan y en el aromático sabor que aporta la canela... Pongámonos el delantal para empezar nuestro maravilloso proceso!
- INGREDIENTS: 4 slices of bread, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup milk, cinnamon powder, sugar (white or brown), butter (as needed to grease the pan).
- INGREDIENTES: 4 rebanadas de pan, 2 huevos, 1/4 taza de leche, canela en polvo, azúcar (blanca o morena), mantequilla (cantidad necesaria para untar el sartén).
- Add the eggs to a bowl, beat well... add the milk (preferably whole milk), mix again until both ingredients are well combined.
- Incorporamos en un bowl los huevos, batimos bien... colocamos la leche (preferiblemente entera), volvemos a mezclar hasta que ambos ingredientes se integren bien.
- We add the slice of bread to the "milk and egg" mixture, let it rest for 30 seconds on each side... We grease a non-stick frying pan with butter, we cook our first slice, I suggest setting the temperature to "medium" heat, in order to get the right texture. When we see that the edge of the bread begins to brown, we turn it over with the help of a plastic or silicone spatula. The cooking process will take approximately 1 minute on each side.
- Agregamos la rebanada de pan a la mezcla de "leche y huevos", dejamos reposar durante 30 segundos por cada lado... Untamos con mantequilla un sartén antiadherente, cocinamos nuestra primera rebanada, les sugiero colocar la temperatura a fuego "medio", para así conseguir la textura adecuada. Cuando comprobemos que el borde del pan comienza a dorarse volteamos con ayuda de una paleta de plástico o silicona. El proceso de cocción tardará aproximadamente 1 minuto por cada lado.
