Today, I woke up celebrating life with a heart full of joy, after receiving so many calls and messages that made me feel loved from the very early hours.
And to continue the celebration, my daughter and her husband invited me to lunch at one of our favorite places: Crepes & Waffles. That alone is a delicious gift. Since it already smells like Christmas everywhere, I went straight to the Christmas Menu. I ordered the Christmas Crepe, which comes with turkey breast, quinoa, and spices. A total delicacy.
Hoy, amanecí celebrando la vida con el corazón llenito, después de tantas llamadas y mensajes que me hicieron sentir querida desde muy temprano.
Y para seguir la celebración, mi hija y su esposo me invitaron a almorzar a uno de nuestros lugares favoritos: Crepes & Waffles. Eso ya es un delicioso regalo. Como ya casi huele a Navidad por todas partes, me fui directo al Menú Navidad. Pedí el Crepe Navidad, que trae pechuga de pavo, quinoa y especias. Una exquisitez total.

The dishes ordered by my beloved companions also looked and tasted delicious. To be honest, I don't remember exactly what they ordered from the other menu, but I can attest that they were very good because, of course, they let me try everything. That's the way to celebrate.
And since a birthday without dessert is not a birthday, I finished with Arreboles de Arequipe: coconut ice cream with caramel sauce, a touch of Worcestershire sauce, and chocolate textures. What a delight! I'm still savoring the sweet moment.
Today I celebrate life with my loved ones. And the celebration will continue at home to sing happy birthday and enjoy a delicious cake, and of course, the quesillo that cannot be missing.🎉💛
Los platos de mis amados acompañantes también se veían y estaban deliciosos. La verdad ni recuerdo qué pidieron exactamente del otro menú, pero puedo certificar que estaban muy buenos porque, por supuesto, me dieron a probar de todos. Así da gusto celebrar.
Y como cumpleaños sin postre no es cumpleaños, cerré con Arreboles de Arequipe: un helado cocado con salsa de arequipe, un toque de salsa inglesa y texturas de chocolate. ¡Qué delicia! todavía estoy saboreando el dulce momento.
Hoy celebro la vida junto a mis seres queridos. Y la celebración continuará en casa para cantar el cumpleaños y disfrutar de una rica torta, y por supuesto, del quesillo que no puede faltar.🎉💛
