Lets know something about Caves of Ellora

30 km away from Aurangabad and my home (I am from aurangabad which is in India) world famous Ellora caves are situated there . The caves of ellora include 34 caves. These caves are situated on the edge of the hill whose rock type is besalt. In these caves, we can see the mixture of three religions namely Hindu, jain and Buddhist.. These caves came into existence from 350 to 700 BC.

Towards the south, 12 caves of Buddhist religion culture, 17 caves of of Hindu religion and in north 5 caves are based on Jainism. There is a clear glimpse of the Buddha's lifestyle in the idols based on Buddhism. Looking at these, it seems that the Buddha is still giving us the message of peace, harmony and unity.

If you are fond of traveling around the world then it is a good tourist attraction for you. The rarest painting and sculpture in the caves here is unique in itself. Along with this there is a unique example of the religious development of the caves.

It is said that the discovery of the caves was done by the army officer John Smith and his team in 1819. They came to hunt here. Then they lfound the 29 caves. After that these caves became famous in the whole world.
