İki farklı karakterdeki kuzenin hayatı konu alan dizide;
Kuzen Balki (Bronson Pinchot) Avrupa'nın bir köyünden, Amerika'ya göç eden bir çobandı ve Amerika'da çalışmaya gelmişti.Fakat işler istediği gibi gitmez ve iş bulamayınca uzaktan kuzeni olan ve daha önce hiç görüşmediği kuzeni Larry'nin yanına geçici olarak taşınır.Balki, köylü ve saf biridir ve Amerika'ya uyum sağlamak onun için zordu.
Kuzen Larry (Mark Linn-Baker) ise klasik bir Amerikalı'ydı. Chicago'ya yeni taşınmış ve yeni bi düzen kurmaya çalışmaktaydı.Larry, Balki'nin aksine daha bencil, pinti, düzenli ve insanlara tepeden bakan biriydi...
Bu iki zıt karakter biraraya geldiğinde de başından olaylar eksik olmuyor tabii...
Kuzen Balki'yi Yekta Kopan, Kuzen Larry'i Murat Şen seslendirdi.
İkili 25 yıl sonra tekrar bir araya geldi.Ve resimden de anlayacağımız üzere Balki, Larry'i çok yıpratmış:)
