Everyone has heard about the richness of vitamin C, a vitamin known to protect us from all the ills of winter and even cancer. Vitamin C is indeed a formidable antioxidant that promotes the healing of biological tissue and stimulates immunity. A squeezed orange juice with 2 small oranges would provide 2/3 of the daily requirement for vitamin C.
But orange contains antioxidants even more powerful than vitamin C and also hesperidin that promotes good cholesterol at the expense of bad, rutin that strengthens the blood vessels and an assortment of vitamins group B.
seems like i should drink some orange-juice regulary :)
