Water Fluoridation, what is it? Why don't we want it?
- The argument the government is using to fluoridate is that it "improves oral health", meaning that this is mass medication, without consent or knowledge of those being medicated.
- There is no way to measure how much fluoride any given person is taking in through water fluoridation, with infants and 30-year-olds drinking the same medicated water.
- Municipalities don't use elemental fluoride/fluorine, they use fluorosilicic acid, sodium fluorosilicate, and sodium fluoride, most of which are industrial waste products, which businesses would be penalized for letting into the air, water, or soil.
- The improvements in oral health quoted by advocates are THE SAME in nations that do use water fluoridation and those that don't.
The beginning of the debate
2015: Round Two... Fight!
"a couple of you mentioned information that seemed more current than when the last time we were together. If you could leave us copies of that, with our staff so they can look at it and brief us on it, I'd just appreciate it. Things change a lot quickly, so if there's more research or information, I'd appreciate having access to that."
Round 3: The most recent showdown

Thanks for spreading awareness of this vitally-important topic!
I gave (to my knowledge) the only TEDx Talk about the dangers of Fluorosilicic Acid, specifically about how it concentrates in the calcifying tissue of the Pineal Gland. Anybody who wants to watch it can find it here:
Again, thanks for sharing these presentations WRCC (: It is of the utmost importance that we get this info OUT THERE, right in peoples' faces!
Upvoted & Resteemed to spread awareness (:
What a great talk! We'll definitely spread that video :-)
Water fluoridation is definitely one of the most important things for people to become aware of and to protect themselves from.
Thanks so much, I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I’m also surprised you live in Denver if they add fluoride there! I’m actually moving to Colorado Springs because the only fluoride in the water is naturally-occurring calcium-fluoride instead of the super-toxic fluorosilicic acid (which literally even sounds like a chemical invented by an evil scientist)... But I grew up on .08ppm F (in Gainesville FL) and the CDC announced a year or 2 ago that anything over .07ppm is an overdose... So that was a pretty huge slap in the face! I felt suffocated there in Florida, so it’s good to GTFO finally and now into a place that doesn’t waste money buying poison to illegally Dose us with! Please let me know the next time you have a meetup or a council hearing or ANYTHING I can be of assistance with (: I will be there because I agree, this is the #1 thing people need to WAKE UP about! Once people realize there is poison in the water, they’ll start asking what else is poisonous and when they do that, will be the day we hit a critical mass of awareness and there’s no going back from that revolutionary point in time! Thanks for everything you do and I look forward to hearing from you in the future! ❤️
Well actually, I ( @kennyskitchen here, I wrote this article) lived in Portland for over a decade before I started traveling.
As for the folks in Denver, everybody pretty much drinks either Manitou water, El Dorado Springs water, Uncle Charlie's water, or RO :-)
Getting people to care about what they're putting in their body to begin with is the key. Cultivating the awareness of how it affects your life experience, the simple fact that we have so much control of our realities, and practicing the self-love to actually choose to make it better. As long as folks are apathetic, disempowered, and disconnected, it doesn't matter if they have the knowledge or not.
Wow Portland is such a beautiful place, and no fluoride there too (:
And wow I didn’t know you wrote for WRC (: @lpfaust has had very great things to say about you and I look forward to meeting at one of the upcoming Colorado events!
Keep up the good fight!

Thanks for the support!
This sucks that the battle is never-ending. I'm lucky. I live in a tiny community (Crestone, CO) where everyone agrees and our water is kept clean and safe. I even know the Water Lady who EVERYDAY checks to make sure we are where we should be. Oh! And no fluoride. 😍
I moved here only 5 years ago and the water was already clean. I do know they had to fight... but the good news? They won. And so can we all.
Keep it up! I wish you all the luck! Together, it's possible.
Hugs!
❤️
Crestone is such a beautiful place, of course the water there would stay clean :-)

Fluoridation .. government control its nothing more than to make us sick and make more money. Sick. Crypto's will change all of that here's to sooner rather than later. Nice post, great awareness, this is a global issue, enough. Cheers ;)
Thanks so much for your support & comment. Definitely agree about government, and we are so excited to see solutions popping up to render it obsolete.
But... local government works! har har Isn't that funny, right? No, it does not. Even local county and city "councils" and sheriffs are often bought and paid for. There's no point trying to convince them to side against their political handlers either. They rule against the local oligarchs? They lose their next election. It's pretty easy to control them. Trying to fight that system, within the system, is never going to work.
Ya, you cannot expect a system to take steps toward disassembling itself. The thing is that there really isn't any other way to get the same kind of reach to the masses that you can by going against the system that way.
The added bonus being that people who haven't realized how inherently evil the system is quickly wake up to it after watching a showdown like this play out.
That is true. It highlights the absurdity of it as Ron Paul's campaign did.
Hi - (upvoted and resteemed!) And
off the subject - @lpfaust cannot add you to the steemit.chat because you do not have a steemit.chat account - please go to steemit.chat and create an account so we can all discuss the upcoming meetups. Thanks!
Ya, everybody that uses it have got their own steemit.chat accounts, we didn't create one for this communal account.
ok
Thanks for your hard work @wearechange-co! Once the rose colored glasses are removed, folks start to realize the deception and lies more readily. It isn't pretty but necessary for real community involvement and change!
Thanks @yoginiofoz! We've definitely seen our numbers swell with every campaign we've done, as more people decide to take responsibility for their lives, and realize that change can only come from within them.
Agreed! I couldn't have said it better myself!
Holy shit. I saw this on the Denver news. I had no idea fellow Steemians were behind the project. Keep up the fight y'all
