Recently some so called experts have claimed that eating soy can affect the testosterone level in negative way in man. Soy contain Phytoestrogens which do interact with our testosterone. Our Androgen and Estrogen both contain receptors that interacts with soy.
Soy when interact with estrogen receptor it increases the testosterone level while when it reacts with androgen it decreases the testosterone level. If we eat soy once in a while than these imposed affects will vanish quickly. Even if one eat soy only once a day there will be temporary changes in the Testosterone level. So it is not correct to say that Soy kill our testosterone level.
I actually like health related post for my fitness...
Nice explanation about testosterone @sufyansial
thanks for appreciating the work.
It's crazy to see how someone comes up with a myth like this one, that eating soy will decrease testosterone levels in men, and then people start to believe it. Although, it's a little sad too, so many people are buying these kind of myths and then offering them as alternative facts...
Myths are easy to spread because people do not bother to find the truth. Answer of every question is available in research papers but people prefer to act on so called experts advice.
Very Beautiful💜
id like to see compiled photos of men fed soy formula as babies ... that would be interesting ....
So what effect will it have?
It does have temporary affect but not permanent.
Excellent post! @sufyansial thank you for sharing so amount information
