We all know that during pregnancy, mother's health also affects the child born in the womb. In a study in France, experts have said that it is normal to increase the weight of the mother during this period, but obesity affects the health of the baby.
Research in France Institute Center Hospitality Universitare Sud Reunion states that excessive weight of the mother in pregnancy can affect the weight of the child. It can be too much or too little weight. The team of researchers has created an online calculator, which will advise women about the ideal weight for safe delivery. This advice will be based on research.
Chief researcher Dr. Pierre Yev Robilard said that the results of our research will benefit 13.5 million women who are pregnant on earth every year. Women want to know how much weight should be increased during pregnancy for safe delivery. Researchers say there is tremendous relationship between the weight of the mother and the child.
Children with lower weights are less likely to be underweight. They are called Small Generational Age (SGA) children. Similarly, children of high-weight mothers can also be overweight, which can be called Large Generation Age (LGA). The risk of having dangerous diseases such as heart attack, hypertension, obesity and diabetes, if such children are adults, is very high.
Compared to them, normal weight children are usually healthy. Dr. Robillard studied for 16.5 years to reach this conclusion. This study has been published in the Hellenic Journal.
