Carrot is a root vegetable which helps to improve the skin and enhance hair growth. It has so many other health benefits such as:
- Prevention of heart disease.
- Lower blood pressure.
- Boost immunity.
- Help in digestion.
- Prevents cancer.
- Reduce macular degeneration.
- Improve eye sight.
- Improve oral health.
- Reduce the risk of stroke.
- Control diabetes.
Carrot oil is extracted from carrot and contains moisturizing vitamin E and protective vitamin C which helps to sensitize the skin and serve as an anti aging ingredient. It also contains carotene which is good for healthy skin, hair, gum and teeth. Carrot oil is also good for skin lighting as it helps to improve skin color and also:
- Increase the resistance of skin to sunlight.
- For mature and dry skin.
- Compensate for the deficiency of vitamins in the skin.
- It promotes cell renewal and makes the skin supple and smoothe.
It is also very good for hair growth as it helps to stimulate the growth of new cells and improve blood circulation in your scalp thereby preventing premature hair and gives you a think, long and shinny hair.
It's best to make carrot oil at home to avoid th addition of preservatives and other chemicals. The process is quite simple and very quick to achieve.
HOME MADE CARROT OIL
Ingredients
- Grated carrot
- Extra Virgin Olive oil or coconut oil
- Tiny pore sieve/filter
PROCESS:
Grate the carrot
Add extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil into your pot/ frying pan
Add the grated carrot, cover with lid and put on steam
Place on low heat for about 30mins. Do not allow to burn.
Remove and allow to cool
Squeeze and filter it using your filter or cheese cloth
There you have your special home made carrot oil made by me.
