How Do You Get To Work?

in #health7 years ago

Health-wise, people say it is good to walk; as taking a brisk walk daily helps you live a healthier life. It can aid you in preventing or managing high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, heart diseases, amongst others. Imagine being diagnosed with any of these chronic diseases and having to live with them for the rest of your life. How does the thought
feel?

Time-wise, people say it is necessary to own a car as your daily commute, visit to family and friends, and others are done in a matter of few minutes. With convenience tagging along, you're also able to function on your own means without having to depend on others for your shuttle needs.

Without owning a car, i'm able to walk about 30 minutes (accumulated) daily to and from work; not forgetting that i do that briskly for the purpose of needing to catch up with the available bus. Imagine how this habit will contribute to my health if i'm to do it for all my working years.

On the other hand, owning a car, i'm able find my way to work in a few minutes; helping me cover up a lot of things within a short time frame; considering the busy life that i live and time being a commodity in need.

Now, i leave this question with you: "Commuting to work via public or private transport?"
