When I tried steemit legitimately my posts failed to generate much hype, therefore little money. So I gave up on the idea and decided to send out controversial posts for pure amusement and I must say it has paid of hilariously. Not everyone can reap economic benefits from this site but you can have a good time. Hope that helps you to understand the psychology of my mind and the motivation behind it.
Austin you were the only person whom I flagged. Why? Because you annoyed me. As you wrote yourself that you are doing it for fun. But is this making your post profitable or are you getting attention of people here so that they might upvote your content?
Just try to understand. When people start downvote you and your reputation score becomes negative, your comments and posts will become invisible. So, you will not be enjoy to have fun for your comments either. Can you understand what I am saying?
I also had not get upvotes for many days. Then I bought some Steem, powered up and also used bid-bots to make my post visible. I also interact people by commenting on their posts. They upvoted me. Many became my followers. So, nothing is impossible in this world. You can achieve everything with positive attitude. Just try to write good posts. I am sure you will get profit, if you do right things.
Only problem, I'm not willing to buy any steem. I've already loaded up on nearly $8000 worth of Litecoin and Etherium during this bear market. Can't afford to risk anymore and besides this platform has so far proved to be unprofitable so why would I invest more into it?
