First off congrats on the big 10K! I am sorry that your trust was abused by those people, nobody deserves it but it always happens to the good people. It is a pessimistic way of looking at it, but I personally just don't help others if I cannot cope without whatever I gave.
Thank you for the newbie advice, I'm not sure if I'm even "new" anymore but I have learned some of this and some I haven't. There really are some weird unwritten rules that will get you downvoted to oblivion. 👍
Learning the rules and etiquette of a new culture are never easy, and hive really is a developing culture and community. I am sure we will continue to have some growing pains and that things will change.
It was not a large amount, but still it was rather irksome especially since a couple of people I followed and trusted also trusted this individual, we all learned a lesson about that individual.
