I was jus wondering today why Ghana never chose to back its urrency with gold. It is likely because they are still a colonial nation closely tied to the UK and it economic agenda. Since the uk uses fiat they expect ghana to do so as well. So far any country that says they are moving back to the gold standard has been attacked by NATO. This is not a coincidence, the monetary system relies on Faith and without it they will fail. A nation using gold to back its trades and currency is dangerous to them because their currency will have tru tangible value based on more than hollow government promises.
Maybe our leaders will wake up and start acting like africa is the most valuable continent on the planet.
