RE: Hanshotfirst and The Holy Grail... of toy collecting.

I have never had the opportunity to attend one of these conventions. I know that I would be droolingbhe whole time. I attended Comican once and it was incredibly fun but this sounds like that times 10.

I can only wish that I still had half the Star Wars toys I owned as a kid. I had a Millennium Falcon, an X-wing fighter, and all the figurines. I loved my Chewbacca doll. Yes!!! That right he was a big stuffie and he was AWESOME!!!! I couldn’t tell you where any of that stuff was now. My mom pitched it the moment she thought I might not miss it. I’ve bought newer stuff for my son and he has enjoyed it.
I was thinking about these toys a few weeks ago as I watched the new Netflix show called “The Toys That Made Us. The first episode is dedicated to Star Wars. That show also too me down memory lane with He-man and GI-Joe. Oh yeah, and my Transformers!! Damn I had a fun childhood full of action figures!! I look at my kids and I’m not entirely sure they will have that same connection to toys that we did. There doesn’t seem to be the same nostalgia as they had. I think it’s becaue of the TV shows and movies in our time were such a big part of our lives. I’m thankful for it and sooo jealous of your weekend. Have a blast walking through your childhood!!!
