Seed harvest!

in #gardening5 years ago

Can you guess what type of seeds are those?

This is our first harvest of mangetout Golden Sweet snow pea seeds! We specifically left more pods to ripen so we can gather more seeds. We plan to have those for sale in the @homesteaderscoop but they are also great when cooked like dry beans.

If you look closely at the photo you will see the tiny dark spots on each seed. When looked up close they remind me of tiny wild birds eggs!

Excellent!
I have never heard of that variety before but it sounds like an all purpose pea if you can have it fresh as a snow pea and also be able to eat them as dried peas - my type of pea!
Wonderful that you can have an abundance to stock some in your Homesteaders Coop store! --- Homesteaders Co-op A community marketplace of ethical, handmade and sustainable products available for STEEM, SBD (and USD): https://homesteaderscoop.com follow: @homesteaderscoop

haha.. they look like the tiny gecko eggs we get all over the house here in Asia. :) Nice. Let there be more stunning snow peas!
