Taking advantage of the launch of Sonic Forces, which will arrive tomorrow at PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC, SEGA decided to launch a special edition with the official soundtrack of Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2. The first title debuted on Dreamcast in December 1998 for Japan and arrived on our continent on September 9, 1999; For its part, the second installment debuted in June 2001. The official soundtracks of the games will arrive in this year's holiday season as a result of a collaboration between SEGA and Brave Wave Productions. The process of curing and remastering is in charge of Jun Senoue, composer and sound director of the original deliveries.
Although no details have been disclosed regarding the release date, price and form of acquisition, SEGA and Brave Wave Productions ensured that the Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 special edition soundtracks on vinyl will be released in 2 runs. The first will offer blue discs for the first game and blue and red discs for the second; the next printing will have the traditional black of this type of discs. In addition, all discs will come with a book that will include lines by John Lineman, Digital Foundry, art work and interviews with Jun Senoue and Sonic Team boss Takashi Iizuka.
