RE: [GAME RIVIEW] WWE 2K17 - Fighter Game #8

in #gaming7 years ago

I bought WWE2K17 a few months ago and I was mega excited to play it. I do follow wrestling and I remember how fun the old Smackdown vs Raw games were when I was a kid. However after playing this game for no more than a day I was more than happy not to ever play it again. Sure, the nostalgia was there but the gameplay doesn't hold a candle to those old games. Simple things like the GM mode which mixed the game up didn't exist anymore. Instead they had a WWE mode where they essentially put the matches and rivalries together for you and it's too much of a ballache to change everything. I loved being able to control things without it being so complex. The gameplay felt a bit robotic, maybe it's because I'm older now, but it just didn't fill me with the same excitement that it used to. I think the game appeals to the hardcore fans, but no-one else. They could take note from the Lego video games where they make games fun for everyone even though they are supposed to be aimed at children...

That's right mr. This game brings to nostalgia and is very interesting to play. Not only for children, even adults have been hypnotized.
Thank you for visiting.
