In the mysterious and imaginary world of E-gaming DOTA 2 is placed high in the ranking. So much so that the last TI(The internationals) 17 has grossed almost 25 million dollars. It is truly amazing what video games have become. From basic house home entertainment like Tetris or super Mario to multimillion dollar industry and ever evolving world of high and visual effects and multiplayer communities. DOTA 2 is The example of point at matter.
Video games globalization is so wide spread that there is virtually nobody in this world who hasn’t played or at least heard of DOTA 2. My case is no different. In its core it is a very simple game. Two fractions the Dries and the Radiants are in the perpetual battle of taking down enemies ancient. Player takes place in the game presuming the role of selected hero. Depending of the players prowess the hero gets level up gaming experience and money in the process. Spending money on items builds up the player to became most dominant subject on the map. So simple but rather difficult. To be honest very difficult. And that is what I like about DOTA. Starting position for every player is the same and it is only up to you how “big” you will become.
DOTA 2 brought multiplayer gaming to another level. One can even say together with CS it shaped the modern multiplayer gaming. In the beginning DOTA readied on local area networks for multiplay which lead to modern match making systems we know today in many games.
Teams in DOTA, competing each other, consist of five players and thanks to match making system you can play with your friends or against your friends or a virtual stranger from half around the world sharing all together the rush from the victory or soreness of the loss. Every game starts the same choosing a hero. There are many heroes in DOTA, constantly evolving and balancing their abilities. Rafly we can separate all the heroes about a hundred or so, in three different groups. Strength heroes, Intelligence heroes and agility heroes. Every hero has all mention abilities but only one primary ability. Depending of what that primary ability is (whether it is strength agility or intelligence) role of the hero will vary. Strength heroes will relay on their strength to take a lot damage, intelligence hero will relay mana pool for casting spells and agility heroes on inflicting a lot of damage in a short amount of time. Depending what is your desired type of playing style you will choose accordingly. My personally prefere agility heroes. I like heroes that are weak in early game but can make a huge difference in late game. Void is my favorite hero. According to lore Void is out wordly creature trapped in this existence. He ignores time and space and use them to his own advantage. He can trap other creatures in a timeless and spaceless chromosphere or back track all the damage inflicted on him. He can also use his weapon to time lock his enemies and pray on his victims. Void is a formidable foe and can carry his team all the way to the victory. Starting the game on a pretty weak spot if you play your card right the Void can be a game changer. That is what I like the most about this particular hero.
There are no limitations to DOTA. All genders and age play this interesting and beautiful game. The selected few play for profit and rest of the world for fun. I play for fun and it really makes my every single time. To all of you fellow players keep playing and keep practicing. I challenge you all And for all of you to whom this text was first DOTA experience, please, you know what to do. Steam is waiting for you so are all steemians.
Lep prikaz. :)
