Whats up guys, its another thanksgiving in the U.S.of A. Most people associate thanks giving with food, but each year that turkey day would roll around all I could think about was no school and gaming! #FPS #MMO #strategy... its all fun!

I remember as a kid that Thanks giving time off meant gaming time, late nights, just me and the sound of the modem connecting to my free local AOL phone number. With everyone asleep, I couldn't wait to fire up the PC, wait forever for the HD to spool up, then windows 95 or XP to start up, pop in a CD-ROM and launch the game!

Anyways it just brought back memories so here is a list of the games I loved to play in the 90's:

Myst
Half Life
The Secret of Monkey Island series
Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe
Silent Service II
Ultima series
Aces of the Pacific and Aces Over Europe
Steel Panthers series
Crusader: No Remorse
1942: Pacific Air War
Command and Conquer
Red Alert
Warcraft 2 (love this game still!)
X-Wing/Tie Fighter
Doom/Doom 2
Duke Nukem 3D
Full Throttle
The Journeyman Project
Blade Runner
GLQuake/Quake 2 (I was epic with the rockets)
Jane's WW2 Fighters
European Air War
Falcon 4.0
Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2
Close Combat series
Mechwarrior 2 (Love bot games/mech games)
Unreal Tournament (Still insane graphics even today!)
Grim Fandango

What games did you play in the 90's? Lets see if yours match up, did the holidays mean time off school for gaming and playing online?

Cheers!
