Fallout: New Vegas - Modded to hell

Do you remember New Vegas looking like this?

I've been keeping this old gem fresh, with much modding and tweaking of it's aged engine. With mods, I'm able to create many kinds of playthroughs that specifically cater to what I want. That's the power of PC gaming, leaving me with a game that not only looks exactly how I want, but plays with just as many or as little extra features.

The Kings are about an idea, you see?

Fallout: New Vegas is one of my favourite western RPGs of all time, and evidence that Bethesda has squandered much potential of the franchise. For those unaware, Bethesda published and developed Fallout 3 and 4, but studio developers Obisdian are the ones responsible for New Vegas. In the eyes of many fallout fans, (including mine) Bethesda really dropped the ball on FO4, which is why I have less than 5 hours played of it, but nearly 300 on New Vegas. But enough context, here are the rest of the screenies!

I left my HUD on the next few, in case you're wondering what it looks like!

And now, for some silly modded dialogue

I also have a modded Skyrim setup going on, but maybe that one's for a future post. That's all for now, thanks for stopping by my friends. Here's an Imgur Album if you'd like to download them in HD.

"You'll never get away with this!" the beggar yelled, trashing hopelessly against the restraints. But as a beggar they were cared for by no one, and the thundering engine was only mere metres away. The villiain was totally going to get away with this.

Hey - figured if you're that into New Vegas, you might be interested in reading this interview with its lead designer, Josh Sawyer:

He also talks about the mod he worked on himself after the games's release. Hope you enjoy!

Oh god, I miss the good ol' days of Fallout 3 and New Vegas! I never got a chance to fully play NV, but thankfully after years of no gaming (sold my PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox, etc.) I decided to get a copy of Fallout 4. Have no console to play it on just yet, but when I make more money it's good motivation to invest in a used one ;) Bethesda makes some seriously beautiful games. It's a part of my childhood.

Love this game dude thanks for sharing, remember the good days :D

Really Amazing Stuff and Beautifully Presented...
A Big Thumbs up From my side for effort you put in this post...
Thank you for sharing and have a blessed day :)

Glad you liked them, here's an Imgur mirror (which I've also included in the OP) if you'd like to download them in higher resolution.

This game is one of the GOAT

I only wish Obsidian gets to make another fallout game, a small part of me dies everytime I think of 'New Orleans' or what New Vegas could have been, if given more dev time

What a bombastic meal :O
I just got hit by nostalgia feel train :(

There's nothing stopping you from replaying this great game~

There is. Lack of time. I already scheduled my next week for steemit, and expect quite a few articles from me. Postapocalyptic ones. I'll pop a few mentats and bring smile to everyone's face :)

Almost forgot about that, hah. I might be steeming out a couple more fallout posts myself in the near future

That was a nice game. I enjoyed it :D

I just realized this game is 10 years old, why haven't more first person shooter rpgs stepped it up yet

Bethesda does a pretty good job of taking an awesome world and making all the characters act like cardboard cutouts. They're in the uncanny valley of AI - the story is there, but the character animations and execution make it shit. I still haven't played this developer's take on Fallout, but I hear from practically everyone that it's amazing.
