I believe, every (human) individual has its free will. Otherwise, there would not be any point in the universe we live in at all and I could kill myself right now without any consequences except for me experiencing what happens after death. Something I am fairly curious about.
Nevertheless, I need my life to have a purpose in order to not fall into an existential crisis.
On that basis, every individual also needs a soul because that's what would make free will possible in the first place.
The concept of a soul is, in my understanding, something that cannot die, that is independent of someone's body and all secular influences and that stores every single characteristic defining what we understand as a 'person', maybe even more. Given that every soul is unique includes that for every born individual another soul must rise, which means that the number of all existing souls is constantly increasing.
But something persistently increasing couldn't work. These souls, for example, could not communicate with each and every other and they could not establish a development in a way considering each and every other of these souls, which I would suggest at such an existential level - except for two cases:
A) - All souls can communicate and share thoughts with all the others at the same time (Highly probable since I am referring to some kind of meta-level here)
OR
B) - All of them are the same.
In the end it doesn't matter because if A occurs, B results. If every single information is shared with everyone, there is nothing distinguishing them.
These thoughts lead me to the conclusion, that if a free will originating from souls exists, on a level differing from the dimensions we know today, we are not only connected to each other but also we are the same in some kind of perspective.
Also, 'we' in this case does not only define by all individuals of humanity but every form of life ever existed, even insects and extraterrestrial lifeforms. The fact, that animals, for example, do not seem to have a free will but are only following instincts and therefore would not have a soul, could be explained by their outer appearance of lifeforms with a low level of intelligence which inhibits them from developing a self-awareness, seeming like a lack of free will to us.
In this regard, nations declaring war against each other makes even less sense
This will keep my mind busy for a while, and even longer if you share your thoughts.
